tl;dr: i actually like vietnam a lot in terms of politics and history, it's a place with so much that's happened to it. buuuut unfortunately it's a place that i'd like to study from afaaaar, because i am a spoiled bitch and the noise and heat, man, it's... it's so hard to take. i feel like i'd never be able to live there if i didn't have a soundproofed car, a chauffeur, and a house with aircons in every room. and this is coming from someone who lives in hong kong and whose favorite hangout is actually a place that is notorious for being so disgustingly crowded and noisy that people are warned repetitively about it before they even step foot in there.

lately i've been feeling really FFFFT about stuff. like, it's this gross longing search for meaning but i just. i dunno. and i don't feel motivated to do anything, even to see friends-- i haven't seen people in ages yet the thought of seeing them again is like "yeah okay whatever it's just another day," like it's nothing special, when it is and i know i'll miss them terribly when they leave again. i feel the same about work as well, which i guess is no surprise to most people but i used to actually feel happy about it, like, "yay i'm earning money, i'm moving up in the world!" now it's like, "fuck, i don't care, i don't wanna show up for anything or do anything, just as long as they pay me, i'll do it." i feel like such a whore. =__= OLD AGE IS TURNING ME INTO A WORK WHORE WHAT IS THIS AAAAAA NOOOOO MY SOULLLL.

asumiko nakamura's yaoi/shounen-ai manga are SO FREAKIN' CUTE. MORE, I NEED IT. i still like doukyuusei the most but anata no tame nara doko made mo is kinda cute too, in a dorky spazzy kinda way. AND IT'S DETECTIVE x CRIMINAL, HOW AWESOME IS THAT. rei_kurasaki, ( this reminded me of older!zack x paako. )

um, does anyone want to play against a kinda OOC kusakabe. i have a post for him in a musebox here. just, yanno, go for it if you're bored. there's nothing you really need to know about him except that he's a gay schoolboy but won't admit that he's dating a boy because he's like one of the many people out there who won't just out themselves so easily, even though he loves sajou a lot. yes yes i know i recced it before but my font wasn't HUGE!!1! enough to please me the last time. it's basically a schoolboy shounen-ai manga but it's so cute and sweet, and so well done. i swear to god that i am not a pedophile like kevin pervertface and i don't normally squeal over schoolboys but this. i adore the artwork to pieces, i love how the characters are really compelling, and i love how there isn't a seme/uke thing like there is in so much yaoi/shounen-ai, where one guy's like mr. universe on steroids and the other one's a two-year-old girl in the body of a teenaged boy. the characters actually feel pretty real, which is really great to read. there's only three chapters scanlated in english so far but that's a good thing because it's just a nice, quick, enjoyable read.

tl;dr read it and geek out about kusakabe x sajou with rei and i. :> GAHHH still making kusakabe icons, WHY AM I SO GODDAMN SLOW AT COLORING.
